Easy Going

Junipers is ideally located for guests wishing to head for the idilic Cairngorm Mountain range, either to Ski, snowboard or for a hike in the summer months.

There are four major lochs in the area all with their unique qualities. Loch Morlich is situated on the ski road and has a large beach and ample parking; ideal for families.

Loch an Eilean is the most historic of the lochs with a cycle path all the way around. Loch Insh is the most developed loch. It offers water sports and a coffee shop with views of the loch. Loch Einich is set high in the Cairngorms; with its unique sense of peace

The national park also boasts another unique visitor attraction; the Strathspey Steam Railway. The railway runs from Aviemore to Broomhill (by Nethy Bridge) stopping at Boat of Garten, passing through stunning scenery.

Wildlife

Junipers is set within one of the finest natural areas in Scotland. The national park is rich in both numbers and variety of wildlife, particulary birds. Take time to visit the ospreys at the RSPB watch station by Loch Garten.
