Rare birds are often found in Junipers garden, the following are commonly found in and around Junipers:

Gold Finch; adult unmistakable with red face, black and white head along with black wings with broad yellow strips.

Crested Tit; distinguished from all other tits by black and white, crest black lines through eye to cheek.

Ptarmigan; have very effective colouration. Their white winter plumage blend with the snow. And the grey summer dress can easily be mistaken for one of the grey stone from among which they live.

Cross Bill; heavy headed with short deeply forked tail with a crossed bill, adult male is brick red lives in the coniferous forest manly spouse and fir. Because of their proffered diet of conifer seeds, crossed bills are dependent on the cone crop.
